Nestled in the heart of Alexander Valley, Bellacana Vineyard is owned by the esteemed Dry Creek Rancheria Pomo Native tribe. With over 138 acres of meticulously tended Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, we proudly stand as the largest tribally-owned grape growers in Sonoma County.

Our connection to the land runs deep, with a rich history of ancestral ties to Sonoma County and a commitment to its preservation. The Pomo tribe has safeguarded this precious land for generations, and we continue to honor this legacy by prioritizing soil health and transitioning toward organic farming practices. Our sustainable approach ensures that each grape is imbued with the essence of our ancestral roots.

While the majority of our exceptional fruit is sold to renowned wine producers throughout the county, we reserve only the finest grapes for our Bellacana wines. At Bellacana Vineyards, we are committed to the highest quality of farming and our commitment to the environment. We are currently certified as sustainable. We strive to produce the highest quality grapes and have started organic farming our 13.18-acre Hillside Cabernet Sauvignon Block 21 starting in 2023 to farm 100% organically and electrically by 2025.

Welcome to our state-of-the-art winemaking facility at Bellacana Vineyards, where innovation and craftsmanship intertwine to create exceptional wines. We share 31,000 square feet of cutting-edge production space at Grand Cru Custom Crush. Designed to optimize every winemaking process step, ensuring the highest quality from vineyard to bottle.

At the heart of our facility lies our crush pad and sorting system, crafted by the renowned Burgstahler Machine Works. This advanced equipment allows us to carefully sort and process our grapes, ensuring that only the finest fruit makes its way into our wines.

We utilize the RotoVibe Destemmer with internal berry-sorting technology to further enhance our grape processing capabilities. This state-of-the-art machine gently removes stems while simultaneously sorting the berries, guaranteeing utmost precision and quality.

Our commitment to excellence extends to our pressing techniques, employing the finest equipment available. Euro Machines bladder presses provide the optimal environment for extracting juice with finesse and control. Additionally, we utilize the renowned Carlsen & Associates basket press, further enhancing our ability to craft wines with depth and nuance.

Within our facility, you will find sixty-six stainless steel tanks. These tanks cater to a range of fermentation sizes, from one ton and up, allowing us to craft wines of varying styles and quantities while maintaining utmost consistency and quality.

We utilize the cutting-edge InnoVint winery management platform to manage and monitor our winemaking processes. This powerful tool enables us to track and analyze every aspect of the winemaking journey, ensuring precise control and meticulous attention to detail.

Maintaining optimal conditions during the aging process is crucial, so we have four temperature and humidity-controlled barrel rooms. These carefully regulated environments provide the ideal conditions for our wines to develop and mature gracefully.

Furthermore, our facility is equipped with chilled and hot glycol systems, meticulously controlled to ensure precise temperature management throughout the winemaking process. This allows us to maintain the perfect conditions for fermentation, ensuring optimal flavors and aromas in our wines.

We utilize the TankNET fermentation control system to enhance our winemaking capabilities further. This state-of-the-art system allows us to closely monitor and adjust fermentation parameters, ensuring consistency and quality across our wine portfolio.
